Level I Certification Training

What: This two-week intensive training will certify participants as a Level I Kingian Nonviolence Trainer, with the ability to co-facilitate a two-day introductory workshop in the philosophy.

This training is an intensive, with days lasting as long as 10, 12 hours.  You will be immersed in the philosophy of Kingian Nonviolence, and we will be going in-depth into the curriculum, the exercises and activities of the two-day workshop, the history of the Civil Rights Movement, presentation 101, and much more.  The training will consist of lectures, movies, small group activities, research and studies, and of course, lots of opportunities to practice your presentations.

All participants will be given a written exam as well as a final presentation at the end of the two-weeks.

This training is held in partnership with the Freedom Foundation.

Tuition: $2,000.  This includes housing AND all meals for 12 full days.

This training is for anyone who wants further exposure into the philosophy of Kingian Nonviolence, and who wants to become a trainer to help spread this important philosophy.  Whether you are a teacher, activist, youth worker, work in law enforcement or in a jail/prison, student, or simply interested in helping to create the Beloved Community, you are welcome to join us!

It is highly recommended that you participate in a two-day introductory workshop before attending this advanced training.
