Chicago’s Peace Warriors
North Lawndale College Preparatory High School’s student peace warriors have changed the culture of their school to one that honors a real lasting positive peace. In the first year of their campaign, they reduced the levels of violence at their school by 70%. This video includes footage from the annual week-long Peace Warriors training conducted by PPWN.

Occupy Oakland’s General Strike
On November 2nd, 2012, tens of thousands of people hit the streets of Oakland for the first General Strike in the Unites States since 1946 (which also took place in Oakland).  This inspiring coverage from PPWP will give you an on-the-ground view of one of the largest demonstrations to take place in the US in a looooong time.
